Red Zones

Red Zones: High-Risk Areas / KOS Areas

There are several areas considered "Red Zones."

These are designated as illegal locations where criminal activity is rampant.

Entering these zones can be extremely dangerous, with a high likelihood of being robbed or worse, killed on sight. It is important to note that even in these areas, a verbal declaration of your presence or intent is required at all times (except for Cayo Perico, declaration is not required.)

Another critical point to consider is that in these zones, your vehicles are not safe. There is a real threat that your vehicle could be instantly robbed, leaving you vulnerable and without transport.

Cayo Perico This island area is considered highly dangerous. Please note that only the section past the final checkpoint or toll booth is classified as a Red Zone. The bridge leading to Cayo Perico is not included in this designation, so the threat only begins once you have passed the last control point, however this does not mean you can camp the end of bridge location and kill people coming off the bridge. Verbal declaration is not required on Cayo Perico, however other city rules such as VDM is still strictly prohibited.

Black Market A notorious hub for illegal trade and illicit activities, the Black Market is a hotspot for criminal elements. This zone is known for unpredictable criminal behavior, making it a prime area for ambushes. Verbal declaration is required at all times in this area.

Oil Rig The Oil Rig is an isolated and hazardous location where unregulated activities and heists occur. Verbal declaration is required at all times in this area.

Heist Locations These are specific areas associated with planned or ongoing high-risk heists. Criminal groups often converge in these zones to execute or plan major thefts and robberies. The presence of organized criminal elements makes these areas particularly volatile and dangerous. Verbal declaration is required at all times in these areas.

Illegal Crafting This zone is designated for the unauthorized creation and distribution of contraband items. Engaging in or encountering illegal crafting activities can quickly escalate into confrontations, as these areas are heavily policed by criminal networks. Verbal declaration is required at all times in this area.
